National Park Week

April 18-24, 2005

This web site is a product of the collaboration between the National Park Service and Denver Public Schools - the Teacher-Ranger-Teacher Program.  The contents of this web site come from one product of the 2004 Teacher-Ranger program - a collection of more than 3000 digital images of the Great Sand Dunes and surrounding area.  The main goal of this web site, and its partner display at South High School, is to increase exposure of the National Parks to Urban High School Students. 

I can't thank the Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve enough for the opportunity to represent them both here and at South High School in Denver Public Schools.

I feel I also owe a big thank you to the Nature Conservancy of Colorado for their generous cooperation and contributions.
